Safe Haven at Keneva Farm is proud to be hosting The “Equine and Rider Confidence Building Clinic with Bill Richey, mounted Police” on Saturday September 21st & Sunday September 22nd. This is an exciting 2-day clinic that will book quickly!
There will be a lecture with Mr. Richey on Friday September 20th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm as well. It is free for the riders that will be participating in the clinic. For any one not riding in the clinic there will be a $15.00 audit fee.
Mr. Richey has participated in and won or placed in every national mounted police competition he has entered. With over 30 years experience as a mounted police officer, and almost as many as a trainer/instructor, he has spent countless hours training officers and civilians from all over the United States to perform safely and professionally, from the trail and show ring to Mardi Gras.
The clinic will start promptly at 9am. We ask those trailering in to arrive between 8am and 8:45am so we can get the trailers situated. All horses must have current Coggins and be up to date on vaccinations. Each day will begin with a PowerPoint presentation and then riding. In-Hand participants are welcomed as well.
Riders/In-Hand Participants: Pre-Register Fee $350 due by Monday August 5th 2024. Sign-up after this date there will be a $50.00 late fee.
There will be no full refund unless the clinic gets canceled.
If you decided to cancel your spot after paying you will only get your money back if we can fill your spot.
Audit Fee: $30/day or $50 for both days.
Day ONLY Stalls Fee: $30.00 - If you wish to use one of our stalls for the day you will need to bring your horses essentials ( buckets, hay, feed etc). When you are done using that stall you must muck that stall. Wheelbarrow and pitch fork provided.
Day & Overnight Stall Fee: $80.00- If you wish to have your horse spend the night, Saturday into Sunday, please bring his/her hay and grain, feed and water buckets (we have automatic waterers in our stalls), and any other essentials your horse will need. If you wish for Safe Haven Staff to feed your horse on Sunday morning please let us know. . When you are done using the stall you must muck the stall. Pitch forks & wheelbarrows provided.
