We're making incredible progress on LGBTQ rights this year! To celebrate and refuel the movement, we invite you to mark your calendars for Equality Florida's 2024 Suncoast Celebration.This year's theme is "The Paint Ball" and will feature exciting, colorful, and artistic spins on our annual cocktail-party-style gala. We're planning for a night of great entertainment by local favorite "Quintessence," dancing, and inspiration. We will share the story of how our Sarasota-Bradenton community has largely held our ground and how we're turning the tide back toward progress on LGBTQ equality...in spite of those locally and in Tallahassee who've tried to drag us backward.
We must raise at least $400,000 toward the Suncoast Celebration to continue our incredible momentum in defending LGBTQ Floridians, holding the line in Sarasota, and pushing forward along the way. Will you stand with us?
We'll provide hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a silent auction, live entertainment, and an uplifting message from a member of Equality Florida's executive team highlighting this year's milestones and our path forward. We'll also recognize, honor, and uplift Sarasota-Bradenton's own heroes in equality. Colorful formal attire is suggested.
