Equal Pay Day marks the additional time women need to work into the new financial year to earn the same amount men earned in the previous year. It shines a light on the persistent gender pay gap in Australia—a gap that continues to affect women’s financial independence, career progression, and retirement outcomes.To help raise awareness and start conversations around pay equity, BPW Moreton Bay invites you to join us for a relaxed Walk for Equal Pay Day on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
We’ll meet at Scott's Point Beach Car Park, Margate, and take a gentle stroll to the Redcliffe Markets. Once there, we’ll enjoy a coffee or breakfast together before either walking back or returning via pre-arranged carpool (you can choose what suits you best—organise a car to be left at the markets or join others for a ride back).
