Would you like to examine or deepen your faith? At Church of the Redeemer, reflect on our experiences of faith, the Bible, and liturgy in light of the Book of Common prayer and our Episcopal experience with Episcopal 101: An enquirer’s class.
We will hold Episcopal 101 classes at two different times. Attend on Sundays mornings from 9:15-10:15, Tuesday evenings from 5:30-6:30, or both! Classes meet in the first alcove of the parish hall.
Those hoping to complete Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation should make sure you come for each topic.
• Session 1: Where are we headed? Baptism and Confirmation session offered Sunday, Nov 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 25.
• Session 2: What is the Bible and how do we understand it? Session offered Sunday, Nov. 30 and Tuesday, Dec. 2.
• Session 3: Who is the Trinity? Session offered Sunday Dec. 7 and Tuesday Dec. 9.
• Session 4: Sin, Repentance, and Redemption. Session offered Sunday Dec. 14 and Tues. Dec 23.
• Session 5: What do I believe? Session offered Sunday, Dec. 21 and Tues Dec. 30.
• Session 6: What is the Church? Session offered Sunday Dec. 28 and Tues. Jan 6.
• Session 7: What is Ministry? Session offered Sunday Jan 11 and Tues. Jan 13.
