The day before Epiphany marks the beginning of King Cake season—and before the rush begins, we pause to recognize the teamwork and preparation that carry us through the season. This year, we’re incredibly grateful to welcome back 17 returning team members, some of whom have been part of the Lilah’s Bakery krewe since 2019. They bring the experience, standards, and knowledge that define how we work.
We’re also excited to welcome 10 new team members this season—learning the craft, being trained the Lilah’s way, and becoming part of a team built on teaching, learning, and working side by side.
Epiphan-Eve is our way of honoring that process.
On January 5, all sales from the day will be shared among our bakery team as a thank-you for the long hours, the training, and the collective effort that goes into every King Cake.
This Mardi Gras season is a bit shorter than most—ending on February 17—which means it will be fast-paced, high-energy, and full of busy days. We’re ready for it and excited for another season of hard work, teamwork, and fun.
When you shop with us on Epiphan-Eve, you’re not just starting your King Cake season—you’re supporting the krewe behind the scenes and celebrating the beginning of another joyful Mardi Gras at Lilah’s Bakery.
We can’t wait to kick it off with you. 💜💚💛
