ITS THE FULL MOON MARKET....AND CHILI!!!

Full Moon Festival is back at Schlafly Bottleworks on Nov 8th, 2025 for the FREE family-friendly event and a sanctioned World Champion Chili Cook Off!

No tickets are necessary to attend, but tasting and voting for the Chili Winner requires a $15 ticket to taste FIVE chili samples and VOTE for your favorite!

Enjoy Schlafly fall brews, live music and entertainment, firepits, our chili cook-off, and a pig roast! Final menus and band lineups coming soon.

Pull up a chair inside the big tent, grab a beer and some chili, and enjoy a fun evening under the stars!

What is the date and time of the festival?
Saturday, November 8th, 12-8 pm

Do I need tickets to attend?
Nope, no tickets required. This is a free event for all (including families and four-legged friends) to enjoy! Simply pay for whatever food and drink you want. No outside food and beverages, please.

What if I want to taste to the chili of the WCCC competitors?
Your $15 ticket gives you access to FIVE chili samples of your choice and the chance to vote for your favorite! The winner of the best Chili will go on to compete and the World Cookoff Chili Championships held in Indianapolis IN.

Who can compete?
Anyone can compete, not just chili chefs! To put your pot in the ring, go to and register!. There is money to be won!

What styles of Schlafly Beer can I expect?
Get ready for your favorite Schlafly year-round beers: Pale Ale, Just A Bit Hazy IPA, Kolsch, and Raspberry Hefeweizen! We will also have Pumpkin, Vanilla Pumpkin, Oktoberfest, Coffee Stout, and Christmas Ale available!

Are other beverages available?
Other beverages are available for purchase. Besides can and draft Schlafly Beer, we have seltzers in the satellite bars on the festival grounds! Inside of Bottleworks, the bar has 16 taps of Schlafly favorites, seltzers, wine, and a full slew of alcohol.

What kind of food will be available?
Full Moon features all the comforts of a fall BBQ with friends! We will have full hogs on site to make some delicious pulled pork options with sides like baked beans, collard greens, and mac & cheese! This year we are working with Epicure the Event for a Chili Competition that will bring some amazing tastings from some of STL's best!

What about music?
Yes, we will have live music. We are still in the process of booking and finalizing band lineups.

What forms of payment are you accepting?
Outside is credit card only. We take both credit cards and cash inside at the restaurant and bar.

Is the festival family friendly?
Full Moon is family-friendly, and people of all ages are welcome. Please remember it is 21+ to drink. There are some louder areas with music and drinking, so please keep that in mind when bringing children.

Can I bring my dog?
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed, but just not inside any tents or inside Bottleworks. Please keep in mind that this event takes place on our parking lot with loud music, small kids, and large crowds.

Will seating be available or can I bring chairs?
We have picnic tables, a big tent with tables and chairs, and firepit areas where people can relax. However, these fill up quickly and then rotate out as people come and go. You are welcome to bring your own camping chairs, but we ask that they are kept out of the main walkways and plenty of room is left for traffic flow and staff to work.

What is the parking situation?
Since Full Moon takes place on our parking lot, there is not much immediate parking available. There are several public lots nearby, as well as street parking. Please be respectful of our neighbors. We encourage public transportation, cabs, Uber, and biking.
