About this Event
Adriana Torres Sánchez is a distinguished industrial designer, artist, curator, promoter of Mexican art, and diplomat. An honors graduate in Industrial Design from Universidad Iberoamericana, Adriana has proven to be an exceptional communicator, effectively coordinating with museums, artists, cultural authorities, and donors to resolve issues and organize successful events and exhibitions across various cultural disciplines, including fundraising events.
With a solid background in design, museography, art history, and art criticism, Adriana is an expert in contemporary Mexican art and color theory. In 2019, she was recognized as one of the 26 leading women in Mexico by Mundo Ejecutivo magazine.
As an artist known as "Torchez," Adriana dedicates her work to raising awareness about autism. Her art is part of public and private collections in Mexico, the U.S., and Europe. Her collections have been exhibited in cities around the world, including New York, Montreal, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. She has participated in international art events such as the Verona Triennale (2016), Florence Biennale (2017), Barcelona Biennale (2017), and Venice Biennale, Personal Structures (2024).
