Rockford's own Midwest Silhouette is releasing their first (self titled) 3-song EP this September 16th at The Music Box. Midwest Silhouette began as a band of three women; Asia Peters on bass, Alison Lamantia on guitar, and Taylor Hopkins on mandolin. Since it's formation, the band has since blossomed into a band of 5 with Cameron St. Clair on drums and Lincoln Flowers on lap steel guitar. Blending spooky soundscapes, sweet vocal harmonies and hypnotic rhythms, Midwest Silhouette's ever evolving indie-folk sound is an ethereal and entrancing experience.Presented by Music Box of Rockford.
