THE ROCK STELLA PROJECT:
The Rock Stella Project is a Sunshine Coast dynamic, high-energy band delivering big female and male vocals and excellent musicianship! From Fleetwood Mac to Led Zeppelin, Tina Turner to INXS! These passionate and committed musicians from Rock Stella are sure to leave you “wanting more!”
THE EAST COAST LOWS:
The East Coast Lows Band began with Brian Boyce, the lead singer and main song-writer, deciding that it wasn't enough to simply trot out the old blues standards at the local blues club, he wanted to write and play original blues and blues influenced songs that would stand on their own as great tunes, with a band that could hold its own in any reputable venue. He pulled together a line-up of musos that he had worked with over the years and began to hone a swag of contemporary and classic blues and blues-rock songs that evoke the respective styles, without being poor copies. The line-up shifted around over the next few years and finally settled with the curious and quirky mix that now count themselves part of the team, including Simon Bland on lead guitar, Paul Lynch on drums and Jon Brown on bass who now complete the rhythm section, laying down a set of sturdy rails for this crazy caboose.
THE CLAPTOMANIACS:
The Claptomaniacs formed in 2014 in the Noosa shire with a common love for music of their own times. They are all locals, experienced musicians with thousands of hours of professional performances under their belts respectively. The repertoire includes material originally performed by Eric Clapton/Cream, Joe Cocker, Steely Dan, the Doobie Brothers, Rolling Stones, Boz Scaggs, Atlanta Rhythm Section and more. Lead singer Ken Gamble is widely commended for his renditions of Joe Cocker's vocal and performance style.
