Anthony Jackson, Group President at TAG Holdings LLC, Manufacturing Adviasor at the Georgia MBDA Business Center

Anthony Jackson brings over 30 years of experience to his position of Senior Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for TAG Holdings, LLC. He is responsible for leading the overall sales and marketing strategies for all TAG companies. He reports directly to the chairman and chief executive officer of TAG Holdings, LLC. Mr. Jackson joined TAG in 2004.

In 1982, after earning a B.S. in chemical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL and in 1984 a MS in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Mr. Jackson accepted a project engineer position at Monsanto Chemical Company where he held various positions including plant design, product and process development, sales and global marketing.

In 1994, Mr. Jackson’s joined General Electric Plastics. As market development manager for the GM Truck Group, he successfully grew the business and introduced new products.

Beginning in November 2000, Mr. Jackson held the position of vice-president of the General Motors and Chrysler business unit at Netshape International, LLC. In this role, his responsibilities including developing the energy management bumper market at General Motors and Chrysler. He helped to grow the business to $34 million. Mr. Jackson also received a co-patent while at Netshape.

Billyde Brown Ph.D, Senior Research Faculty, EWD Director; Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute Manufacturing Program Advisor

Dr. Billyde Brown is a Senior Research Faculty and Education and Workforce Development (EWD) Director at the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute (GTMI), one of eleven interdisciplinary research institutes at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Brown also serves as a Manufacturing Advisor at the Georgia MBDA (Minority Business Development Agency) Business Center where he connects minority-owned business clients with resources and expertise at Georgia Tech and provides assistance with prototyping and engineering services.

Dr. Brown’s overall role at GTMI is to create strong partnerships among industry, government, and academia in the area of manufacturing research, development, and deployment, while acquiring and managing sponsored research programs.

His expertise spans strategic partnerships, solution selling, and business development, demonstrated in leadership roles at Scope AR and Rockwell Automation.

At Magic Leap, Randy serves as an Ecosystem Expansion Manager, where he excels in establishing long-term relationships with developers and ISVs and solving problems faced by enterprise accounts.
