
About this Event
This part time course is available to local hospitality personnel, including hoteliers, restaurant staff, cafe personal and anyone working in the hospitality sector.

âś… Cut energy costs without cutting corners
âś… Reduce food waste and increase profit
âś… Avail of current government supports available to the hospitality sector
âś… Learn techniques for reducing water wastage and introduce energy-efficient practices
Employers and or Employees who attend the course will develop a bespoke workplace Environmental Action Plan which will facilitate the introduction of sustainability improvements within their hospitality workplace, to allow for cost savings and competitiveness in the industry. By successfully completing the programme learners will be able to identify, prioritise and implement environmentally sustainable improvements in their workplace, resulting in less food waste and more profit.
This training programme is being offered through Skills to Advance funding and is aimed at those in full or part-time employment.
The Environmental Sustainability in the Workplace programme is accredited by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) and leads to a level 5 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
