. Rusty Boone was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He got started in dog sports with his Siberian Husky, Nanuk, doing agility 9 years ago. He got his first Malinois, Envy, in 2017 and has competed with her in agility, dock diving, disc, and is working on foundations in herding, protection and barn hunt. Envy and Rusty have competed in NADD since 2018, receiving placements in distance and air retrieve at multiple National championship events. The team competed in the 2023 AKC Diving Dogs Challenge and the PPP Incredible Dog Challenge Central Regionals. Rusty has been an instructor at Dog Sports At Kim’s where he focuses on advanced dock diving and intro and advanced air retrieve. Some of his strengths are helping teams improve distance by improving throwing techniques, teaching dogs to pop and track toys, and improve the dogs stride and take-off points.

NOTE: This is not a beginners workshop. Dogs must be competent swimmers and jump off the dock willingly. No dog participating should be aggressive towards people. Each working spot may consist of a handler and a holder. All others in attendance can purchase an audit spot. A handler can sign up for multiple sessions over the weekend, but a dog can only attend one. No refunds will be given for working spots unless we can fill your spot. All dogs are to be on leash or confined unless on the dock. There is no smoking on the property. You must pick up after your dog. No shock collars (e-collars) allowed on the premises.

This is no smoking on the property. This is not a workshop for aggressive dogs. This is not a workshop for dogs that are new to the sport of dock diving. Dogs must be competent swimmers and jump from the dock willingly. You must pick up after your dog.
This Release and Waiver is intended to shift the risk of participating in an event to the Participant/Owner/Guardian of the dog in the event. Do not sign it unless you are willing to accept assumption of the risk of participation and the risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage while at this event while upon Canine Manners, Inc.’s property. I fully understand the participation in the sport of dock diving involves risks and dangers of serious injury. These risks and dangers may be caused by my own actions, or inactions, the actions or inactions of others participating. There may be other risks either not known to me or not readily foreseeable at this time AND I fully accept and assume all such risks and all responsibility for losses, costs, and damages. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by Canine Manners, Inc.’s rules and regulations. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event, I (we) agree to hold Canine Manners, Inc., Legacy Five, Inc., their employees, and Rusty Boone, Enuk Dock Diving Training & Seminars harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. If any release from liability shall be deemed by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then the remainder of this release from liability shall remain in full force and effect and the offending provision or provisions severed here from. The parties agree that venue for any claim and controversy arising out of this Agreement shall be in the State, District and County Courts located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
