Holiday Lighted Nights is having a Gingerbread House Competition! Entries are accepted now through November 15th, 2024.
You do not have to be from Washington County to enter. The entry fee is $5.00 and must be paid at the time of entry. Entries must be dropped off at the Fair between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on November 22nd.
Your piece will be displayed all throughout the Holiday Lighted Nights!
Here are the Rules:
There are three Divisions
14 and under
15 and up
Professionals - If you have been paid for your culinary skills, you are considered a Professional
House Construction
Houses must be on a base that can not be any bigger than 2x4
Houses must have some structural support, but they can only make up 10% of the final piece; the rest of the house must be made of edible materials
The main part of the house must be made of gingerbread
