Eric Tam, Cofounder @ Ebvia & Business Development @ Grant Engine
Eric is a biotech entrepreneur and NPLB Fellow, focused on life sciences venture fundraising and business development. I am a startup builder helping life sciences entrepreneurs secure winning non-dilutive government contract funding at Grant Engine, and as Cofounder & Board Member at Ebvia developing therapeutics for diseases with high unmet medical need. I’m passionate about making people healthier and building ethical companies.
Eddie Ontai, President of DataHouse
Eddie Ontai, a dedicated servant leader with over 30 years of expertise in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and project management. As the President of DataHouse Consulting, Hawaii’s largest IT consulting firm, Eddie has played a pivotal role in driving substantial growth, increasing shareholder value by 146%, and expanding the company’s global footprint. His experience spans multiple industries, including healthcare and non-profit sectors, where he has led transformative projects, including affordable housing developments and strategic financial turnarounds. Eddie is committed to empowering teams, fostering a thriving company culture, and ensuring long-term success.
Andrew Lau, Software Engineer at Cedar
Andrew is a Software Engineer with a proven track record of optimizing complex systems and driving key infrastructure improvements at high-growth companies. After completing his bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine, he moved to San Francisco to pursue a career in the tech industry. Over the last 7 years, Andrew has applied his skills at multi-billion dollar startups such as Hive AI, and Calm. He is currently working at Cedar, where he is helping to simplify the complexities of the medical billing experience.
