Please join us for a special event brought to you by the Columbia Business School Alumni Association of Boston. Robert Heilbrunn Professor Emeritus of Asset Management and Finance Bruce Greenwald will speak on the challenges and opportunities related to entrepreneurship in the modern economy.
He will examine the unique circumstances of launching consumer products in an increasingly service-oriented marketplace. Hero95 Crisp Low Calorie, a new high-end beer brand founded by Todd Simon (CBS '09) will be used as an example to highlight the importance of premiumization and differentiation for start-up CPG businesses in the new economy.
Professor Greenwald will examine the importance of strategy, competition, niche advantages, and cooperation among other topics. There will also be an opportunity to sample Hero95 during the event!
Networking to begin at 6 pm and the program will run from approximately 6:30-7:30 pm.

Bruce Greenwald Bio
Professor Bruce C. N. Greenwald is the Robert Heilbrunn Professor Emeritus of Finance and Asset Management at Columbia Business School and the academic Director of the Heilbrunn Center for Graham & Dodd Investing. Described by the New York Times as "a guru to Wall Street's gurus," Greenwald is an authority on value investing with additional expertise in productivity and the economics of information.
Greenwald has been recognized for his outstanding teaching abilities. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Columbia University Presidential Teaching Award which honors the best of Columbia's teachers for maintaining the University's longstanding reputation for educational excellence.
