Entrepreneurship Avenue 2025 - Lab 1

The Entrepreneurship Avenue Labs are a series of 5 workshops that are designed for students to try out entrepreneurship by working on their own projects.

We provide you the playground to learn and apply the basics of turning an idea for a business into a viable project! Work in an interdisciplinary team and receive support from experienced mentors and pitch trainers!

The program is free of cost and all students from around Europe no matter the background are welcome to join!

Participating is pretty simple! Every student can join! In the course of the Labs, you will form teams that work on a project idea together.

If you already have an idea that you want to work on, select the ticket type I have an idea.

If you do not yet have an idea, select the ticket type I don't have an idea but I want to join a team. We will provide you with several opportunities to join other teams (Networking at Kick-off, Pitches at end of Lab #1).

Understand the fundamentals of starting up: it’s all about the problem you want to solve.
This is the time to present your idea, or join another team with an idea!

APRIL 28rd 5:30PM - LAB 2: BUSINESS MODEL hosted by BOKU BASE

Craft your startup idea with the Lean Business Model Canvas.

MAY 7th 5:30PM - LAB 3: MENTORING hosted by WU Entrepreneurship Center

Refine your business model with the support of an experienced mentor.

MAY 13th 5:30PM - LAB 4: PITCH TRAINING hosted by Universität Wien

It’s all about the perfect pitch. Learn to present your business with the help of pitch trainers.

MAY 27th 5:30PM - LAB 5: DEMO DAY hosted by Startup House Austria

Present your final pitch to an experienced jury and qualify for the final pitch award at the Conference.

Q: Do I need a business idea to take part?

A: No! It is great if you sign up with an idea for a project but it is not required since you can also form teams with others who already have an idea.

Q: Do I need a team to take part?

A: No! It is great if you sign up with a team but we will provide you with several opportunities to join other teams (Networking at Kick-off, Pitch at end of Lab #1).

Q: Am I signed up for all 5 labs now?

A: No! You are need to sign up for all five labs!

Q: Do all my team members have to sign up?

A: Yes! Please ask your team members to sign up on Eventbrite as well. This way you all receive all relevant infos.

Q: Do I need experience or knowledge about startups to take part?

A: No! Our Labs series is designed for students who are interested and want to make their first steps and explore the opportunities in the startup scene. You need no prior experience or knowledge about startups, starting a company or project management.

Q: Do I need to be a university student to take part?

A: Our workshop series is designed for students from different backgrounds! No matter your background, we are looking forward to your participation! The more diverse the team, the more innovative the projects!
