About our Speaker:
Amie Remington is the Chief Legal Officer for The Peoplease Group, a professional employer organization group with four business brands and 70,000 employees in all 50 states. In her role as Chief Legal Officer, Amie oversees business, compliance and employment-related matters for all four brands.
Prior to working with The Peoplease Group, Amie enjoyed 16 years as General Counsel with a locally-based, nationwide human resource company. Prior to that, Amie was a partner with the law firm of Bozeman Jenkins & Matthews, where her mentor, Tom Jenkins, showed her how represent clients zealously and how to treat opposing parties fairly and with compassion.
Amie’s passion is employment law and all matters related to helping both businesses and employees become successful. Amie believes that much litigation can be avoided when businesses treat their employees fairly and when employees are encourage to engage in open communication and honest dialogue.
When she isn’t working, Amie can usually be found with her husband, three kids and her very unruly puppy, Whistle.
