Portsmouth is the City of the Open Door, but not everyone is able to go through every door. Access Navigators is a local nonprofit that maintains a website listing the ins and outs of accessibility in our community helping to take the mystery out of accessibility.
FREE to Chamber members and $35 for others; register through this link: https://portsmouthchamber.org/events/details/ensuring-portsmouth-is-the-city-of-the-open-door-presented-by-exeter-hospital-77719?calendarMonth=2025-04-01
In this session we will hear from Anne about the real-world challenges that folks with mobility issues face before going off into the field to help gather information to help update the Access Navigators site.
About our Facilitator:
Anne is the Director of Community Engagement for JSA Design, a Portsmouth-based architecture firm. Deeply involved in civic life, she volunteers with several Portsmouth-based organizations and helps oversee Strawbery Banke Museum’s outdoor ice rink.

Her work has been instrumental in raising awareness and advocating for more inclusive and welcoming spaces.
