About this Event
The upcoming 250th Celebration is a time to learn about and reflect on our country’s past. It’s a time to look at the examples of liberty, courage, and sacrifice, while reckoning with this moment of injustice, and racism.
We need to acknowledge our country’s past and the stories of the men of color, which includes Native Americans, who were enslaved, indentured, freed, and free at the time of the war!
While introducing us to the invisible men of color of the Revolution, Sandi Brewster-Walker will explore some of the men of color stories, before, during, and after the American Revolution.
