About this Event
Biometric screenings are measurements of various health indicators. These screenings can be useful to alert you and your healthcare provider to changes in health or to keep you on track with your healthy habits.
At this appointment, you will be given the results to share with your healthcare provider. The appointment will take about 30 minutes. Please arrive on time to ensure that everyone's time slot is respected.
Biometric screening includes measurements of:
1. Cholesterol and blood glucose via a finger stick blood specimen.
2. Body composition analysis (includes weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass).
3. Blood pressure.
Instructions:
1. If possible, please fast for four hours before your scheduled appointment (not required).
2. Drink plenty of water before your appointment.
3. You will need to remove your shoes and socks before using the scale.
