We are eager to embark on another year of exploration and growth with our Ennovation Center Book Talk Club. We have an important update to share regarding our meeting schedule.
Starting now, our Book Talk Club gatherings will now take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 4 PM to 5 PM, in Danielle DuPree's office at the Ennovation Center. The meeting room will change to the Mayor Barbara Potts Conference Room on the 2nd floor of Ennovation Center, if we get a larger number of attendees.
While we encourage you to read the selected books each month, please note that it's NOT a requirement. We understand that life can get busy, and the main goal is to come together, learn about the book, and discuss its key takeaways.
Let's dive into the exciting lineup for the upcoming months:
March: "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R. Covey
Explore the seven habits that can transform your personal and professional life and help you achieve success.
April: "Zero to One" by Peter Thiel
Gain insights into the mindset and strategies of successful entrepreneurs and learn how to create innovative businesses that thrive.
May: "The Power of Habit" by Charles Duhigg
Understand the science behind habits and learn how to harness their power to create positive change in your personal and professional life.
June: "Good to Great" by Jim Collins
Discover the key factors that differentiate good companies from great ones and learn how to take your business to the next level.
July: "Start with Why" by Simon Sinek
Explore the concept of finding your "why" and learn how having a clear purpose can inspire others and drive success.
August: "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss
Challenge the traditional notions of work and learn how to design your lifestyle and business for maximum efficiency and freedom.
September: "Dare to Lead" by Brené Brown
Explore the power of vulnerability and courage in leadership and learn how to create a culture of trust and innovation.
October: "The Innovator's Dilemma" by Clayton M. Christensen
Understand the challenges that disruptive innovations pose to established companies and learn how to navigate them successfully.
November: "The E-Myth Revisited" by Michael E. Gerber
Gain insights into the common pitfalls of small business ownership and learn how to build a business that works without you.
