Why go?
At Denver Meditation Center, we’re making meditation retreats more accessible so taking a break from the grind doesn’t have to wait for the time and money it usually takes to get to a meditation retreat. We’ve figured out a way to reduce the cost and keep the content simple, but meaningful, so busy people can take the much needed break they want and desire. Many people struggle with meditation. We’re here to facilitate the magic that happens when people come together with the same intention to slow down and find some inner peace.
What You Will Experience
- Sacred Sharing Circles: There is joy to experience as we come together and practice the gift of being authentic. When we hear others share from their heart space, we naturally open our hearts and find words to describe our life experience too. True authenticity takes practice.
- Cacao Ceremony and Nature walk: Slow down and smell the flowers, so to speak. In the urban setting of Denver, there are many beautiful nature spots. Learn to disengage with the buzz of the city, and connect to our natural state of wonder and awe found when we connect to beauty in nature.
- Activate Our Energy Centers in Meditation: Wake-Up! & Dance is a somatic dance and stillness meditation. Tap into the 10 energy centers we activate in meditation and see how meditation can transform the way you see yourself and your relationship to life.
- Spend intentional time in silence: Being in silence can provide numerous benefits including: improved concentration, increased creativity, heightened self-awareness, reduced stress, better decision-making, enhanced emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of inner peace by allowing for reflection and processing of thoughts without distractions; essentially giving your mind a space to recharge and rejuvenate

Meet Your Facilitator
Hi, I’m Swara, musician, DJ, and meditation yogi. With more than 30 years of energy work cultivated through studying yogic teachings and practices with living spiritual masters, I have learned the art of transformational meditation, and the power of sacred sharing circles. Now, I want to share these gifts with you. With practice, we can alchemize our deepest heart pain into compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and yes, even gratitude. The practice of activating energy centers, moving energy in our physical, emotional and energy bodies, then sitting in stillness heals our individual and collective energy fields. I’m here to discuss spiritual guidance for humanity at this time in history, and show others how to develop a passion for meditation.
Scientific Insights
