Join Brett Cooper of Limestone Permaculture for an Enhanced Vegetable Gardening presentation with Q&A.MidCoast Council invites you to celebrate National Recycling Week Open Day at the MidCoast Sustainability Centre (located at the Tucurry Waste Managementn Facility) on Saturday the 16th of November.
MidCoast Council will be hosting Brett Cooper of Limestone Permaculture for an Enhanced Vegetable Gardening presentation with Q&A. Learn about progressive gardening strategies & techniques for:
- Building healthy soils in-situ whilst still growing crops
- Reducing crop rotation with Plant Guilds & clever gardening techniques
- Planting & Seed Casting to get the most out of your bed space!
- Soil ph testing, plant protection & much more! These techniques can be used from backyard garden beds to smaller scale market gardens and is open to ALL levels of gardening experience.
Workshops will run for approximately 2 hours and are scheduled for 9.30am and 12.30pm free of charge. Numbers are limited and bookings are essential.
