East-West Comedy Specials are one-off events: featuring visiting comedians from around the world, acclaimed solo shows from international festivals and much more.
Born in Yugoslavia, raised in Croatia and having lived in Ukraine and Russia, Igor is now back in Croatia, which has in his absence (and without his immediate approval), joined the EU, establishing itself as one of Europe’s top cosmopolitan destinations. That also means that Igor has always been masterfully balancing on the fence of East and West, traditional and progressive, conservative and liberal, which has led to a unique mind-set and observations only a true EUgoslav can provide.
Igor Mondae is Croatia's most experienced international English-speaking comedian, with such feats as over 8 years of performing, four packed European tours, Edinburgh Fringe, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, for a total of 19 countries and over 30 cities under his belt.
Igor's show is best described as observational storytelling, leaning heavily on the audience interaction and sharp wit, making each performance a mix of well crafted jokes with a unique spur of the moment experience.
