We are pleased to welcome back Olde Meck member Gerald Montagna to present Part 2 of his Introduction to English Medieval - Early Modern Genealogy. In October of 2019 Gerald acquainted us with the basic structure of early British society and the terms associated with the records for the noble classes of that time. This is very useful for genealogists who are trying to track their early English ancestors and find virtually unintelligible records!Gerald is now coming back to complete the presentation with the discussion of the lower classes of society, the types of records they left, and the terminology which genealogists must know to unravel the secrets of their lives.
