What is it all about?
The future of Espoo concerns us all. The master plan being prepared is set for 2060. It will help us guide Espoo’s growth in a sustainable manner in the coming decades.
The master plan is a tool that can be used to prepare for population growth and large-scale traffic arrangements. It can also be used to ensure that Espoo remains nature-oriented in the future.
You can comment on the draft plan in the period 3 June–3 September 2024. At the preparation stage, many things are still undecided, which means that this is your opportunity to have your say!
Preparing the master plan requires many years of work, and all Espoo residents can contribute to it. Based on the feedback on the draft, experts working on the master plan will prepare a more detailed plan, a plan proposal. The estimate is that residents will get to comment on the plan proposal by 2025–2026.
