Do you like Bridgerton, or Jane Austen movies? Have you ever wanted to learn historical dancing? English Country Dance is for you! This style of dance does not require a partner, nor any experience at all! Every dance is a set of figures taught by the caller. We dance the steps once through with our partners and neighboring couples, and then move on (progress) to a new couple and do the pattern all over again. Our musicians prepare numerous melodies to accompany the different dances.
Susan English will be guiding us through a variety of dances, and live music will be provided by Fourpence. Only $8 for regular admission; $5 for students.
