English Conversation Circles
Join us at the Global Student Centre for English Conversation Circles, a new program designed to help you practice and improve your English speaking skills. These sessions provide a relaxed and supportive environment where you can engage in conversations on various topics, meet new people, and enhance your language abilities. All levels are welcome!
Conversation Topic: So What If I have An Accent - An In-Depth Conversation of Englishes and Its Cultures
Dive into a meaningful discussion about accents, identity, and the diverse cultures of English speakers worldwide. This session offers multilingual students a chance to explore the richness of global Englishes, challenge stereotypes, and reflect on how accents shape communication and cultural exchange. Practice conversational English in an open, supportive space, share your experiences, and celebrate the uniqueness of your voice.
Event registration is optional and simply helps you receive reminders. If you would prefer not to register, you are still welcome to drop by anytime from 12 to 2:30 pm.
