Connect with Virginia Tech professors, engineering students and staff from Blacksburg, in Roanoke, to learn about pathways to engineering fields. There will be several guest speakers including Ayda Haydarpour, Virginia Tech Engineering Student, and former member of the award-winning robotic team featured in the movie “Rule Breakers”.This free event is great for:
-Any community college student considering transferring to Virginia Tech
-Any high school student curious about engineering fields
-Anyone interested in local resources to support their engineering studies
*Pizza and light refreshments will be served
There will be a free showing of the film "Rule Breakers" from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
