A workshop bridging practitioners and research with the latest policy-relevant findings from the PostCor lab on war-to-peace transitions
About this Event

This workshop addresses key questions on engaging non-state armed groups in peace processes. The objective is to build a discussion and critical assessment of policy options based on research findings from the Postcor Lab over the past two years, funded by the United States Institute of Peace. A key goal is to engage policy practitioners and assess the extent to which research results resonate with their grounded experience, and to help guide on the ground decision making.

The morning and afternoon sessions will each spotlight three key topics. Each session will have the following format:

· Brief presentation of research results framed in relation to implications for multilateral intervention and peacebuilding;

· Comments from practitioner discussant with relevant experience on these topics;

· Discussion of policy implications and ideas

This is a hybrid event and will be hosted in person at the Munk School of Global Affairs as well as on Zoom. Participants will be emailed a zoom link upon registering.
