DR. PEGGAH ESCALANTE: CO-OWNER, DR. DRAKE'S SLEEP SOLUTIONS

Dr. Escalante grew up in South Texas starting in Harlingen then moved to San Antonio with her family during her high school years and has been here ever since. She graduated as part of the honors program from St. Mary’s University and continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. She graduated with a distinction in Teaching and Research. Discovering the world of dental sleep medicine after meeting Dr. Drake, she fell in love with the transformative power of dental appliances in sleep apnea therapy. A Diplomate of the AADSM, Dr. Escalante is passionate about lowering the barriers of accessibility for patients, educating providers, and ameliorating the way people live their lives through better sleep. In addition to co-owning Dr. Drake's Sleep Solutions, Dr. Escalante is a faculty member of the University of Texas Health Dental School in San Antonio, as well as a staff dentist at a dental practice in San Antonio.

CRIS ESCALANTE: PRACTICE ADMINISTRATOR, DR. DRAKE'S SLEEP SOLUTIONS

Cris grew up in Guadalajara Mexico and in New York. He served in the Army as a human intelligence collection specialist, as well as a combat medic. He retired in 2009, and has continued to serve ever since. He has held positions in academia overseeing healthcare administration and clinical programs, working with Veterans developing programs to help with their PTSD, and overseeing multiple medical centers in San Antonio. He is a graduate of Purdue University, and Harvard Business School. He fell into dental sleep medicine partnering with Dr. Drake and Dr. Escalante to handle the administrative and strategic side of the practice.
