About this Event
The concert begins with Mozart's Symphony no 32. A short work of around 8 minutes written in 1779 in 3 short movements. We will then perform Reinecke’s concerto for flute with soloist Adar Dilberoglu. Adar plays with the Enfield Youth Symphony Orchestra and has been selected to perform with EchO through our highly successful collaboration with Enfield Music Service.Vaughan William’s Burley Heath, is a subtle, beautiful work, inspired by the village of Burley in the New Forest. Our concert concludes with Mendelssohn’s well known Scottish Symphony in which the second movement in particular is very much in the style of Scottish Folk music both rhythmically and melodically.We very much look forward to seeing you on 7th March
