About this Event
Too many people are experiencing social, economic, and health harms due to the profit-driven, fossil fuel dominated energy system. These burdens are disproportionately felt by those who have the least access to wealth and power under our current structure. From steady increases in our monthly bills, to harm from the very air we breathe both inside our homes and outdoors, to the increasing chaos in our global climate, it’s clear that change is needed NOW.
The 2025 Energy Justice Town Hall is a free event that will educate, engage, and activate Baltimore City and Maryland residents to take action on equity issues related to our energy system. Through workshops, a partner expo, speakers, and conversations, we will address the health and climate impacts of how we generate and consume energy, as well as issues around affordability, reliability, efficiency, and opportunities for jobs, community decision-making, and self-sufficiency in the transition to a clean energy future.
This event will empower everyday people to be advocates, educators, and change-makers as we work together to take control of our collective energy future.
