🌿 You’ve probably learned about your body’s anatomy — your lungs, heart, stomach, and bones.But did you know you also have an energy anatomy?
Just like your physical body, your energy system has its own structure — including meridians (used in acupuncture), chakras, and your aura. Even though you can’t see them, there are simple ways to sense, test, and support these systems — and doing so can help you feel more grounded, resilient, and alive.
In this hands-on workshop series, you’ll explore your own energy anatomy in a fun and practical way. No need for complex techniques or special abilities — just your natural curiosity and willingness to tune in.
🔹 Workshop 3: Aura – Your Energetic Home and Protection
Monday 18 August, 19:00–21:00 – Liv Yoga Leidse Hout, Leiden
Your aura is the energetic field that surrounds your body — a dynamic, multilayered system that reflects your inner state and interacts with the world around you. It’s both a mirror and a shield: when strong and balanced, it helps you feel clear, centered, and protected. When it’s thin, scattered, or tangled, you may feel drained, vulnerable, or “not quite here.”
In this session, you will:
✨ Learn what the aura is and how it functions as part of your energy anatomy
✨ Discover common signs of imbalance in the aura and what can cause them
✨ Practice simple techniques to strengthen, repair, and clear your aura
✨ Explore how the aura relates to boundaries, presence, and emotional resilience
✨ Learn to test for disruptions in your field and restore flow
We’ll use gentle, hands-on practices, energy testing, and awareness-based exercises to explore your aura as something real and responsive — not just a concept, but a living part of you that you can connect with and care for.
📒 If you’d like to dive deeper into the background of this and other energy systems, I recommend reading Donna Eden’s book Energy Medicine. It’s also available in Dutch as Energie als Medicijn. It offers a clear and inspiring foundation for understanding how energy flows through the body — and it’s a great companion to what we’ll explore in the workshop.

🌀 A note from your facilitator
For a long time, I lived with low energy and a persistent sense of tiredness. It wasn’t dramatic — just an ongoing feeling that something was off, though I couldn’t quite name what it was. In search of a way to feel better, I began studying my own energy system. I learned how my energy works — where it flows well, where it gets stuck, and how to begin supporting it.
Over time, this exploration brought real change. I have my energy and my creativity back now — and I’d love to share what I’ve learned with you.
I’m now a certified Energy Medicine Practitioner, and in this series, I offer a clear and accessible map for exploring your own energy systems — learning how to test them, recognize imbalances, and support your energy so it can support you.

Energy Medicine is a gentle, accessible approach that taps into your body’s natural ability to heal and restore itself. It’s based on ancient wisdom and modern insights, yet simple enough that you can start using it right away.
The techniques come from the Eden Method, developed by Donna Eden—a pioneer in the field of energy healing who has been teaching this work around the world for over 40 years. Her books (Energy Medicine, Energy Medicine for Women, and others) have helped thousands of people reconnect with their health, vitality, and inner balance.
I’m a certified practitioner of the Eden Method, currently completing the final stage of my two-year training. These tools have been a key part of my own healing from chronic fatigue, and I’m excited to share them in a down-to-earth, experiential way.
Each session offers practical tools and guided experiences, including:
• Easy exercises to boost vitality and release stress
• Energy testing to listen to your body’s signals
• Techniques for grounding, boundaries, and emotional safety
• Partner practices to share with loved ones
You’ll also get to know the different energy systems that make up your body—like the aura, chakras, and meridians—and learn how to sense what kind of support they need. Step by step, you’ll discover how to work with these systems in simple ways that help you feel more balanced, resilient, and connected.
There’s also space for your personal questions—whether you’re dealing with fatigue, emotional stress, or something specific you’d like to shift with energy work. You’ll receive individual guidance and simple exercise suggestions tailored to what you need most.
