About this Event
EnerGIS Conferences a 501c3 non-profit with the mission to promote geospatial technology and provide an avenue for professionals to learn, network, and share topics of current interest and challenges within the industry. We offer a scholarship program and have a standing educational partnership with the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing’s Great Lakes Region Chapter (ASPRS-EGLR) on remote sensing related presentations. This unique combination brings together committee members and attendees from all spectrum within the energy sector. On a typical year we draw ~120-150 attendees representing oil & gas operators, water/electric/gas utility companies, plus general vendors and service providers for the industry.
The theme for our 11th anniversary conference is on Digital Twin Technology. We recently announced Dr. Shawana Johnson, a renowned global remote sensing expert, as the Keynote speaker for EnerGIS 2023. She will be speaking about “Energy Resilience and Critical Infrastructure with Digital Twins – from the founding of digital twins and how long GIS experts have been producing them to generative AI …. What does progress look like today?”.
