with Movement, Breath, Chanting, and Guided MeditationThe interior of our body houses an energetic system that includes a central channel, nadis and chakras. Please join Christine for this 2 1/2 hour workshop for a brief overview of our energetic anatomy and an in-depth practice with physical postures, breath, chanting, and guided meditation to bring in balance, alignment, and healing on the deepest levels.
What we might be carrying in our energetic body, especially on a wounded level, imprints the nervous system. Our nervous system will then have responses based on what we might be carrying energetically. This energy informs our thoughts, emotions, moods and behaviors.
This practice concludes with an extended guided meditation in savasana designed to clear & cleanse and ground & balance our energy on all levels, as well as protect and create energetic boundaries.
All experience levels are welcome. Please reach out ahead of time to Christine with any questions, special requests or accommodations needed at [email protected].
“The story of the chakras is the story of how spirit manifests in human form, including our individual variations on the human theme, as well as the story of our spiritual destiny and how we can transform our lives through yoga practice. Understanding the chakras gives us self-knowledge at every level of our being.” ~ Sandra Anderson, Yoga International.
Price: $45/$40 for Ahimsa members and non-members who register prior to February 22nd.
