About this Event
Thinking and talking about death can feel uncomfortable and many people avoid the topic altogether. But the reality is, we all die. Open, thoughtful conversations about death and dying, along with understanding our options and making a plan, can bring peace of mind, not only for ourselves but also for those we love.
Join Reina Galanes, Board Member, and Willow Taraja, Volunteer, with End of Life Choices California (EOLCCA) for an engaging and informative discussion on end-of-life planning and choices.
Topics will include:
- Stopping unwanted medical treatment
- Palliative care and hospice options
- Voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED)
- California’s End of Life Option Act (also known as medical aid in dying ~ MAID)
Reina and Willow will also share valuable resources and support services offered by EOLCCA to help individuals navigate their end-of-life choices with clarity and confidence.
Don’t miss this opportunity to empower yourself with the knowledge to make informed decisions, and ensure your values and wishes are clearly communicated to those who matter most.
Open to all – admission is FREE! Donations in any amount are deeply appreciated and help support Death Positive Event Series (DPES) programming ❤️
