As the Church prepares to celebrate All Saints and All Souls days on Nov. 1 and 2, our CIA-Faith Mission Operatives apostolate is excited to offer another powerful story of a Catholic whose life and faith were radically changed through a Near Death Experience (NDE). On Monday, Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Xavier Fine Arts Theatre, Ed Jozsa will present "ENCOUNTERING GOD on Death’s Doorstep", his fascinating account of both terror and a glimpse of Heaven that occurred during and after he was crushed and trapped in his car for hours following an accident.
“On the morning of that wreck, if you had asked me if I was going to Heaven, I would have said ‘Of course I am.’ … But at that moment of impact, I went somewhere … and it was not Heaven.”
Ed, of Cicero, IN, will tell his story as part of the 2025-2026 Investigate Your Faith series. It took years for Ed to come to grips with the visions, heavenly interactions and miracles he experienced after the accident derailed his life and nearly destroyed his body. But, as he grew closer to Jesus, he came to understand his true purpose on this earth and the message he feels called to share with others.
