Enchanted Forest Muse: A Mixed Media WorkshopStep into the forest of imagination and create your own mystical “lady of the woods.” This unique mixed media workshop blends sculpture, fabric, and found objects to bring a whimsical forest spirit to life.
Participants will learn how to sculpt a face from Sculpey clay, then layer textures using old jewelry, fabrics, yarn, beads, feathers, and more on canvas. Through creative layering and playful experimentation, each student will design a richly detailed, one-of-a-kind forest muse full of character and personality.
The class will focus on techniques for:
Sculpting expressive features in clay
Combining textiles, trinkets, and textures for depth and storytelling
Using color and pattern to evoke a natural, magical atmosphere
Turning everyday materials into something extraordinary
No two Forest Muses will be alike—each creation will reflect the artist’s own sense of wonder, mystery, and whimsy.
