Enchanted Forest is a poignant exploration of the creative process, resilience, and the power of beginning again. In a theatrical design studio, Tessa — a former choreographer turned costume designer — works alongside her two young assistants, bringing bold visions to life for an opera while tailoring costumes for other demanding clients. Their days are filled with the physicality of creation — the rhythm of movement, the strain of labor, and the imperfect beauty of art in motion.
But when a city official arrives with devastating news about their building, their creative sanctuary is threatened. As they face the uncertainty ahead, an unexpected visitor invites them to see the possibility of renewal, even in the face of loss.
Written by and starring SPTW co-founder Sally Smythe, Enchanted Forest is a deeply human story about art, love of movement, and the healing found in starting over.
The show runs for 70 minutes with no intermission. The show contains adult themes and language.
