Learn all about the oldest forms of painting in the world! In this workshop, students will learn how to paint with heated pigmented wax on wood. This unique style of painting is so different from any other painting medium. We will be working with beeswax, oil paint, organic materials and metal tools to create our abstract works of art! In this class students will also be learning how to incorporate photography into their wax creations as well as 3D elements such as metal, wood, glass etc.
Returning students are welcome as there are always new techniques to share. Wood boxes and frames will be provided.
Supplies required feel free to bring some photography you'd like to use. The original will not be harmed, we will make a copy. Any ephemera (memory items) you'd like to use for your project. There will be a half-hour break for lunch
