The MAAA is excited to offer this first-of-its-kind workshop with Alexis Campisi in the upstairs classroom of the Gallery. In this unique workshop, you’ll learn how to pin beautiful butterfly specimens and create a stunning display in a glass cloche!
This work of art could brighten up a corner of a room or make it the focal point! It would be a great gift for Mom, too! After all, Mother’s Day is May 11th!
What You’ll Learn:
- The art of butterfly pinning
- Techniques for decorating cloches
- Tips on how to preserve and showcase your butterfly specimens
What You’ll Get:
- A stunning decorated glass cloche
- Two beautiful butterfly specimens
- Your very own specimen spreading kit (Includes tweezers & pins)

- A brand-new hot glue gun
Who Can Register:
This workshop is designed for adults, but children are welcome if accompanied by a guardian.
