About this Event
Embody the movement of Initial Dissent by exploring states of tension and two sections of original choreography from the performance. All are welcome, but this workshop is designed for advanced dance students, pre-professional dancers, and professional dancers.
The choreographer and director of Enactor Productions, Becca Hoback, will start with her “Forms and Flows” warm up to first strengthen and then challenge alignment and stability in the body. She will offer guided improvisations to move into the body's state of tension for each section of choreography, curating a unique and experiential peek into the creative process and performance approach. Dancers will explore excerpts from sections "Revocation" and "Reclamation" - offering two contrasting experiences for dancers to process physically.
