Christine Falk, a Berlin-based artist specializing in painting, studied Fine Art at the Berlin-Weissensee Academy of Art. Her artistic work is deeply connected to travels in other cultures, exploring their culturally influenced architecture as well as local architectural forms. Her paintings navigate between abstraction and reality, drawing inspiration from the roots of classical modernism. In her work, she constantly seeks the essence of a place, a glimpse of beauty within a human-designed world. Her highly abstracted architectural fragments thrive on a musical balance between simple flatness, serial details, and harmonious use of color.
