This course covers common emergency illnesses and injuries as well as initial care and treatment modalities. You will learn oxygen therapy and airway maintenance, cardiac arrest management, trauma care and other aspects of emergency care.While the program is intended to prepare you for work in a basic life support service, you will also be prepared to perform basic emergency care in other settings.
