About this Event
This is the 8-hour course that is required by Community Care Licensing in order to become a licensed family childcare provider. The course includes:
- Lead Poisoning Prevention
- Recognition, management & prevention of infectious disease
- Sanitary Food Handling
- Child Nutrition
- Identification and reporting of signs and symptoms of child abuse
- Immunizations
- Prevention of childhood injuries
- Emergency preparedness & evacuation
- Caring for children with special needs
- This is a two-part training. You must attend both sessions to receive your certificate.
1 . Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 , From 1:30PM - 5:30PM
2 . Thursday, March 27th, 2025, From 1:30PM - 5:30PM
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER HERE. (THIS WILL REGISTER YOU FOR BOTH DAYS)
**No make-ups for any portion of this class will be allowed**
N OTE: Please plan to be here early or on time as there will be no late admittance. Doors will open 10 minute till training starts. Doors will be locked at 1:35
