Are you prepared for your child to leave home?
Your child is prepping for their next adventure. While you’re excited for them, there’s also so much else you’re feeling.
Maybe you’re surprised to find yourself getting teary anytime you talk about it. You may notice changes in your child’s interactions with you, or feel unsure how to adapt and savor these next few months rather than just stressing and arguing about logistics. Perhaps you’re trying to anticipate how your role and relationships will shift after your child departs.
If it seems like you’re alone in this journey, you’re not! Get support so you can thrive through this time of transition.
About the group
We'll meet for a total of 4 Sessions: March 11, March 18, April 1, April 8
This group is designed for:
- Parents of kids ages 17-23 (group is for parents only)
- All genders, races, marital status, sexual orientation
- The emptying nest spectrum: parents preparing for
- departure of first, only, middle, or youngest child
Each session will incorporate brief, simple somatic resourcing tools such as movement, breath, and mindfulness practices that support your wellbeing. Most importantly, you’ll connect and share experience with other parents.

Session 1: Your changing relationship with your adult child
Session 2: Who am I now? Exploring your evolving self-identity
Session 3: Friends and partners and exes - oh my!
Session 4: Preparing for the big day + next steps
