About this Event
Clay vessels are the world's most ancient universal vessel for the fermentation and storage of wine, from Spain to China, and their popularity in winemaking has risen in recent years, especially as our affinity for orange wines has grown.
Why did we get away from a preference for clay-aged wines, and when did we start to return to it? How does clay aging affect the expression of a wine? Why are so many orange wines made in clay?
We'll answer these questions and more in this one-hour class taught by Rebel Rebel's Lead Sommelier, Hannah Carroll.
NOTE: This class is hosted at Wild Child, at 30 Bow Street.
