🎟 Grab YOUR tickets now for this family friendly event to fight hunger in our Puerto Peñasco community. Empty Bowls-Puerto Peñasco is neighbors helping neighbors who have food insecurity every year due to seasonal job layoffs. Help us ensure that no one goes hungry!
What is it? 👉🏼 "Empty Bowls" is an internationally recognized grassroots movement by ceramic artists around the world to raise money for food organizations. This money is used to address hunger-related issues in their own communities. Most Empty Bowls events are held in November in conjunction with World Hunger Day. Proceeds for our event benefit food distribution in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico.
How does it work? 👉🏼 Day of the event:
- Present your ticket at the door
- Choose your favorite handmade bowl from a selection donated by local artists
- Begin soup and bread tastings from local restaurants. A bottle of water will be provided.
- Visit the Silent Auction area to bid on your favorite items provided by local supporters
- Enjoy your treats and live music while visiting with your friends and community members
Desserts and additional beverages will be available for purchase. The American Legion will be open to purchase bar drinks of your choice or lunch items.
