Empty Bowls is BACK for 2025!Mark your calendar for this year’s drive-thru event on April 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. at Second Harvest Food Bank’s headquarters, 3330 Shorefair Drive, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
This year, every ticket purchase offers soup for two—choose from a menu inspired by the simple yet delicious classic soups of Italian cuisine— lovingly crafted by our talented chefs. Along with your meal, you’ll receive two beautiful pottery bowls created with compassion for our cause by the artists of the Sawtooth School for Visual Art, local artisans, and community groups.
To complete your meal, enjoy fresh bread, and a dessert. Add a bottle of wine to complement your meal.

How it works:

Reserve your pick-up time, choose your soup from a menu inspired by classic Italian flavors, and purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets start at $70 for two meals.
🚗 Drive Thru
On April 23, arrive at Second Harvest HQ at your scheduled pick-up time.
🍲 Pick Up Your Meal
Our volunteers will greet you, check your name, and bring your order—including your selected soup, fresh bread, dessert, and a beautiful handmade pottery bowl, created by local artisans and community groups.
